Back-draught dampers

Back-draught dampers prevent return flow or the ingress of unwanted air. In operation the blades are open. When pressure drops or air flows back, the blades close automatically.

The blades are closed in normal position and open with the air current. Because the blades can only be opened in one direction, an airflow in the opposite direction is prevented from happening. Thanks to it lightweight construction, it already reacts to a low pressure of 10 Pascal in order to avoid backflows in ventilation systems
