Back-draught dampers prevent return flow or the ingress of unwanted air. In operation the blades are open. When pressure drops or air flows back, the blades close automatically.
The RSK back-draught damper is a simple negative or excess pressure damper, and is also available as a flutter damper. It comes with all the high-quality attributes of Lucoma dampers and features reliable functionality and robust construction. The DRK is available in any combination of galvanised steel or stainless steel with aluminium or stainless steel blades.
Application:
The RSK back-draught damper is installed to prevent return flow or the ingress of unwanted air or to maintain conditions in complex duct networks at a precise pressure.
Function:
The RSK back-draught damper is available with independent and free moving blades, as flutter damper or with blades coupled to an outer rod linkage. In operation the blades are open. When pressure drops or air flows back, the blades close automatically. The damper is also suitable for high pressure requirements. The release pressure is not adjustable on the RSK.
Round design:
For fitting in round ducts with flange connection on both sides according to customer specifications or plug-in ends. Purely mechanical flutter damper, no electrical parts. Very low leakage in case of counter pressure.
