    Structure description:
    ASTRA, the Federal Roads Office, modernised the Simmenfluh Tunnel as part of its «Tunnel Safety» project. The 700 metre long Simmenfluh Tunnel was completed in 2003 and is located along the A6 Swiss autobahn (motorway). A 130 metre long escape gallery was built to meet the stricter standards for escape distances. The construction work costs roughly 6.6 million Swiss francs. Several ventilation louvres in special design from Lucoma are installed in the escape gallery.

    The Zurich Diameter Line is one of the largest building structures in the Swiss railway system. The double track Weinberg Tunnel between Zurich main station and Oerlikon is 4.8 kilometres long and has a diameter of over 11 metres. The total costs for the Diameter Line amount to two billion Swiss francs. Lucoma pressure-relief dampers made of stainless steel are used to meet increased requirements on the Diameter Line.

    Structure description:
    The Swiss A 16 autobahn is an 84 km long traffic axis crossing the Jura mountains on the territory of the Cantons of Bern and Jura and is therefore called the Transjurane. The Mont Russelin road tunnel is situated along the A16. The tunnel is 3560 m long and was opened in 1998. Over 40 tunnel dampers from Lucoma are installed in the safety tunnel.
